Over 500 runners started last Sunday in the 8th Hendi Economic Five run. Krzysztof Szymanowski, who covered the distance of five kilometres around the Poznań Malta Lake within 15 minutes and 40 seconds, was the fastest. Patrycja Talar with the time of 18:34 was the fastest among women runners.

- This time, no records were hit. It is mostly the weather issue. 18-20 degrees Celsius is the temperature excellent for recreational jogging, however it is not the best for attacking the best running times. In addition, everything obviously depends on the day’s fitness of a given competitor - says Rafał Wieruszewski from the PUEB Department of Sport and Physical Education, the coordinator of the run.

532 persons reported at the finish and the team ranking was won by the Poznań University of Economics and Business, overtaking the AMU (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań), the Poznan University of Technology and the AWF (Poznań University of Physical Education).

The attendance record was hit in the Nordic Walking Enea Economic Walk for Five, with 46 competitors participating.

The Department of Sport and Physical Education and the PUEB Runner Club were the organisers of both the walk and the run on behalf of the University.
