Car traffic in downtown Poznań is heavy and there is a lack of parking within the University area, so the easiest way to get to the university is by using public transport. It consists of trams and bus lines. There are also special lines which run at night. In Poznań, one 10 min ride will cost you 3 PLN but half if you are a student (1,50 PLN). It is worthwhile to buy a semester ticket for reduced fees on trams and buses. There is a double fare on express buses. You can easily recognise the fast bus by a large capital letter (not number). The semester pass (6 months) costs 185 PLN (for students). It is also a ticket for 4 months, which costs 155 PLN.

You can have a ticket on your student ID card or you can apply for PEKA card www.peka.poznan.pl/web/portal.
