Student housing

Following the recommendations and instructions of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate and the Ministry of Health, the University has implemented procedures and activities aimed at minimizing the risk of coronavirus infection. They cover all PUEB buildings, including student housing.

At this stage, the following actions have been taken to ensure security:

    - bans have been enforced on arrival of new persons in the PUEB dormitories and on visits by non-residents;
   - entrance door handles are disinfected daily;
    - in DS Phoenix and DS Atol quarantine rooms have been prepared to isolate patients waiting for an ambulance;
    - posters with information about reducing the risk of infection have been displayed in dorms main areas and in the door-keeper's lodges;
    - paper towels have been provided in public toilets to avoid using hand dryers,
    - managers and dormitory employees are available to students and help them in case of any doubts or questions related to the procedures;
    - soon, hand sanitizer dispensers will be installed at the entrances to the PUEB dormitories.

We will keep you updated on the next steps taken to ensure maximum safety.
