on the organization of education in the winter semester in the academic year 2021/2022

Based on Article. 23 sec. 1, art. 51 sec. 1 and in connection with Art. 67 sec. 4 of the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended) and in connection with the Act of March 2, 2020 on special solutions related to the prevention , counteracting and combating COVID-19, other infectious diseases and crisis situations caused by them (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2020, item 1842, as amended), I order the following:

 

 § 1

Education at the Poznań University of Economics and Business (hereinafter referred to as PUEB or the University) in first and second cycle studies in the winter semester in the academic year 2021/2022 takes place in the University's buildings, subject to § 7.

§ 6

Method of conducting credits and examinations in the winter semester 2021/2022 at first and second cycle studies, at doctoral studies and at the Doctoral School, as well as diploma examinations for students graduating in the winter semester 2021/2022 will be regulated in a separate ordinance.

§ 7

1.If the person conducting the classes or a group of students / doctoral students participating in the classes needs to undergo quarantine or isolation during the period of conducting classes in the University's buildings, the person conducting the classes may:

* change the date of the classes (rescheduling to a later date),

* change the form of conducting classes to remote / hybrid.

The change of the date or form of the classes should be notified to the immediate supervisor and the competent programme director / head of doctoral studies / director of the Doctoral School.

2. The University reserves the right to conduct some or all of the classes in a hybrid form, or remotely in the event of worsening of the epidemic situation, or changes to the guidelines, recommendations or precepts of generally applicable law in the field of first and second cycle studies, doctoral studies and education at the Doctoral School. The MS Teams platform should be used for synchronous contact with students / PhD students. Classes conducted in a remote / hybrid mode must take place on the dates indicated in the timetables. A change in the form of conducting classes and the way they are organized will be communicated in advance.

§ 8

1.Students, doctoral students, participants of postgraduate studies and other forms of education during classes in the PUEB buildings are obliged to comply with the applicable sanitary safety requirements and the University's recommendations, in particular with regard to covering the mouth and nose and disinfecting hands, under pain of not being able to participate in classes in the PUEB buildings. failure to comply with these requirements.

2. Students, doctoral students, participants of postgraduate studies and other forms of education showing symptoms that may be evidence of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection may not participate in classes planned in the University's buildings.

3. The guidelines related to ensuring the safe conduct of classes in PUEB buildings, in accordance with the applicable sanitary requirements, have been specified in a separate ordinance of the rector. The current guidelines are published on the PUEB website (coronavirus tab).
