Poznań University of Economics and Business decided to apply for the „Human Resources Excellence in Research” logo which is an integral part of the overall Human Resources Strategy for Researchers prepared by the European Commission. Hence, we have decided to implement the measures of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers which aim at making the working conditions of researches more attractive. This is done by ensuring “that the nature of the relationship between researchers and employers or funders is conducive to successfulperformance in generating, transferring, sharing and disseminatingknowledge and technological development, and to the career development of researchers. The Charter also recognizes the value of all forms ofmobility as a means for enhancing the professional development ofresearchers.In this sense, the Charter constitutes a framework for researchers, employers  and funders which invites them to act responsibly and as professionals within their working environment, and to recognise each other as such”.

The above mentioned principles correspond to the PUEB Strategy and they have provided us with a starting point for the creation of an extensive PUEP HR strategy that is responsive to the needs of our researchers. By doing that PUEB wants to improve the initiatives already taken and to carry out new ones that will make the working environment for researchers at PUEB even better and far more stimulating.


PUEB’s Action Plan covers the following action areas:

4.       Motivational system

5.       Professional development

6.       Working conditions

The actions to be taken as seen as a process and will be implemented between 2017 and 2022.
