How to apply for the first-cycle (Bachelor’s level) studies?

Step 1
All candidates need to fill in an application form: e-rekrutacja.ue.poznan.pl.
You will need a passport-type colour photograph to create your account. Please prepare a good quality 500 x 625 pixels photo in JPG or PNG format.

Step 2
After registration the system will guide you through the list of documents you need to upload.
The required documents for first-cycle programmes are:

  • High School Diploma (legalized copy in English or Polish, i.e. sealed and signed by a Polish consul in your country or your consul working in Poland, or adjusted apostille, for candidates from countries that have signed the Hague Convention) – the ranking lists of candidates will be determined on the basis of their GPA obtained for their qualification courses (Mathematics and Geography/History/IT).

  • A statement from the Polish consul confirming that the student has the right to apply for admission to all types of higher education institutions in the country where the certificate was issued;
  • Certificate of English language skills – you can download the list from the Downloadsmenu to the right;
  • Proof of medical support (a copy of health insurance policy or European Health Insurance Card EHIC or declaration of entering the National Health Fund immediately after commencing education in Poland);
  • Copy of passport (page with photograph and passport number).

Step 3
The documents are then verified by the admissions staff. Depending on the amount of applications this can last up to 2 weeks.

Step 4
If the candidate’s documents are accepted and the candidate meets all the formal requirements, they will be given the account number to which they should transfer the registration and first semester tuition fees. When we confirm the transfer we will issue the admission letter which will be used to apply for a visa.

How to apply for the second-cycle (Master’s level) studies?

Step 1

The required documents for second-cycle programmes:

  • First degree (Bachelor’s) completion diploma, legalized or adjusted apostille;
  • Verified extract from student’s registration book, including a full list of examination and credits or transcript for diploma;

  • Certificate of English language skills;
  • Entrance Medical Record for PPM candidates only (a doctor’s certificate of no contraindications to study, in English or Polish);
  • Proof of medical support (a copy of health insurance policy or European Health Insurance Card EHIC or declaration of entering the National Health Fund immediately after commencing education in Poland);
  • Copy of passport (page with photograph and passport number).

How to apply for the Preparatory Course?

Step 1

After registration the system will guide you through the list of documents you need to upload.
The required documents the Preparatory Course are the same as for your future Bachelor’s or Master’s degree course. Mainly, they are:

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree diploma for Master’s level candidates (legalized copy in English or Polish, adjusted apostille, i.e. sealed and signed by a Polish consul in your country);
  • Transcript of records (a list of all your courses and grades)
  • A statement from the Polish consul confirming that the student has the right to apply for admission to all types of higher education institutions in the country where the certificate was issued;
  • Certificate of English language skills (if available)
  • Copy of passport (page with photograph and passport number).

Step 3
The documents are then verified by the admissions staff. Depending on the amount of applications this can last up to 2 weeks.

Step 4
If the candidate’s documents are accepted and the candidate meets all the formal requirements, they will be given the account number to which they should transfer the tuition fee for the Preparatory Course. When we confirm the transfer we will issue the admission letter which will be used to apply for a visa.

Step 5
When you come to the University to officially enrol, you will need all the recruitment original documents, plus their photocopies to submit to the University.

How to apply for the Doctoral Seminars in English programme?

Step 1
All candidates need to fill in an application form: e-rekrutacja.ue.poznan.pl.

Step 2
After registration the system will guide you through the list of documents you need to upload.
The required documents for second-cycle programmes:

  • CV
  • copy of master’s degree,
  • copy of master’s degree study record (list of courses)
  • research proposal – DOWNLOADA TEMPLATE
  • list of publications (if available)
  • letters of recommendation from scholars who are familiar with their academic work (if available)
  • confirmation of transferring the application fee

All application documents must be uploaded in the recruitment system by 15 August.

Step 3
The documents are then verified by the admissions staff. Depending on the amount of applications this can take up to 2 weeks.

Step 4
The candidates who successfully pass the online documents verification are invited by email for a 15 minutes Skype (or personal) interview with the programme coordinator and a potential supervisor.

Step 5
Candidates who pass the interview and are eligible for admission will be asked to cover the first semester tuition fee. When we confirm the transfer, we will issue an agreement on terms and conditions concerning participation in the DSE programme.
