Established in 1926, the Poznań University of Economics belongs to the top Polish economics universities, and owes its reputation to high-quality education and the position of one of the leaders of scientific research in the field of economic sciences. The University's strength is its scientific potential, educational conditions and orientation towards cooperation with business.


The didactic offer of the Poznań University of Economics includes global models of managerial education and the latest solutions in the field of development of economic thought and business. As one of the oldest universities with this profile in Poland, it specializes in educating business leaders, highly qualified managerial staff, economic experts and employees of government and self-government administration services. A wide range of studies includes 18 fields of study and over 50 specialties. The teaching programs implemented by the University are characterized by in-depth practical orientation, since for over 10 years the University has been cooperating with the most prestigious companies from all over Poland as part of the UEP Partner Club. Experts and business practitioners signal the needs of the labour market in connection with economic changes. In addition, they run classes for students during which they share their knowledge and experience. A distinguishing feature of the curricula offered by the Poznań University of Economics is also the linking of management and economics with the most modern solutions in the field of information technologies as well as law and social sciences. The broader teaching context gives PUE students reliable academic education, the ability to navigate in modern business and the competencies required of a professional manager.


The university is an important centre of applied research, expertise, analysis and consultation for the business area, government and local government units. Scientific research as well as expert and advisory projects conducted by PUE cover all fields of economics and economic practice. The university is equipped with the latest research infrastructure. The UEP Interdisciplinary Research Laboratory - InnoUEP consists of several specialized, thematic research laboratories with a common database for calculating and storing data. Laboratories, equipped with the latest equipment and software in the world, constitute an environment in which interdisciplinary scientific research is conducted.


The university's high ranking and academic position is largely due to the well-qualified teaching staff. The university employs over 500 academic teachers, including about 140 professors. These are high-class didactics and outstanding figures in science and business practice.


Danube University Krems

Danube University Krems is one of the pioneering institutions in Europe in the field of university based advanced education, and a specialized institution in the sector of lifelong learning. In teaching and research, the University focuses on social as well as organizational and technical challenges of current times, and is developing innovating courses on an ongoing basis. The University for Continuing Education is specifically focused on interdisciplinary cross-linking and future-oriented special sectors: it offers courses that combine medicine and management, education and new media, or law and social sciences. Highest quality standards, a scientific, practical approach, and the use of innovating teaching and learning methods are part of all courses. Danube University Krems bears the AQ Austria seal of quality in compliance with the Austrian Federal Act on Quality Assurance in Higher Education. Danube University Krems is primarily devoted to translational research in special areas such as Health and Medicine, Educational Research and Lifelong Learning, European Integration, Migration and Economics as well as Art, Culture and Architecture. Scientific conclusions constitute the basis of practice-oriented teaching at the University for Continuing Education. Furthermore, the research being conducted here permits intensive cooperation with companies and other public institutions. The three faculties of the University conduct research that extends beyond the confines of their respective specialties.

As the leading public university in Europe in continuing education the University for Continuing Education - Danube University Krems (DUK) is specifically focused on inter- and transdisciplinary educational approaches for dealing with complex societal challenges and in different sectors.

Especially the Department for Knowledge and Communication Management (WUK), is a university based, Competence Centre for research, practice and further education. In research and teaching WUK has a strong foundation in systems science, communication/visualization, general management, innovation, entrepreneurship, and competence development as well as didactics for sustainable transition. The Department currently offers 20 Master programs (MBA and MSc) with a strong emphasis on inter- and transdisciplinary perspectives as the interaction/mutual learning of practice and science. Our transdisciplinary orientation within our training programs (i.e. applied on real-world cases) is particularly supported by three Transdisciplinarity Labs (1. GovLab Austria in cooperation with the Austrian government; 2. Sustainable Digital Environments; 3. Sustainable Mineral Resources). A strong focus concerns capacity building skills particularly in the field of system thinking, systems modelling, and strategic games. Danube University Krems, and particularly the Department Knowledge and Communication Management have an extensive experience in the field of transdisciplinarity based on 41 projects at the national and international level. The activities in a field of transdisciplinarity give the necessary experience for the development of sufficient collaboration mechanisms between business and academia. Furthermore, this background provides for the capabilities to design and implement the mechanisms of mutual-learning process. Consequently, this allows for interrelating the achievements in the fields of science, academic education, and practice.


University of Salerno

The University of Salerno is ideally linked to the oldest academic institution in the Old Continent: the Schola Medica Salernitana. Founded in the eighth century AD, the School reached its peak between the 10th and 13th century. The mission of the University of Salerno is to carry out research and educational programmes, developing links with the surrounding area while respecting the environment, with the aim of creating, enriching and, at the same time, offering a scientific, cultural heritage to students, enterprises, institutions and in general to the whole community. The teaching offer of UNISA is among the largest and most varied in Southern Italy. The numerous courses range from life and health sciences to the hard sciences, from the humanities to the legal and economic-political field, to engineering. In addition to the 80 bachelor’s and master’s degree courses, there is a wide range of postgraduate courses which include courses for teacher training, postgraduate and specialization courses, PhD programmes, postgraduate schools. The “Manifesto degli Studi” of the University of Salerno is updated every year on the basis of the local and national economic-productive scenario, and on the analysis of employment demand. A key factor sets us apart and rewards us as a campus: constant attention to the centrality of the student. As of 1987, the University is located in the town of Fisciano, a few kilometers from Salerno, at the junction of motorway intersections that make it central and easy to reach. The university is a very large compound in continuous expansion, covering around 100,000 square metres. Organized in the form of a campus (comprising the campuses of Fisciano and Baronissi), the university is equipped with residence halls for students and teachers, and boasts modern facilities and efficient services for orientation, teaching, studying and leisure activities. It currently counts about 40,000 students from Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Apulia.


University Cote D’Azur

Université Côte d’Azur (UCA) is a research-intensive university relying on a strong ecosystem of higher education and research institutions (Observatory of the Côte d’Azur, CNRS, INRIA, etc.), that:

−          Welcomes over 30 000 students

−          Employs over 4 000 persons involved in research in A or A+ ranked laboratories

−          Relies on 493 active research and training partnerships

−          Has a strong experience in the management of European projects (over a 100) and National projects

−          Won 76 national and 48 international research prizes awards

−          Counts on 113 active patents and 37 licenses

Over the past few years, UCA has shifted its structure for a dynamic and flexible organisation in order to meet the needs of society and better prepare young scholars and professionals for a changing world. The actual UCA model of university relies on transdisciplinary cooperation, an experimental model for coordination between research, training and innovation, as well as strong and sustained partnerships with private sector entities and local policy makers. To implement these collaborations and increase its flow of knowledge towards its ecosystem, UCA knowledge actors, which form the backbone of the university, are closely interlinked through:

Based on its innovative approach of inclusive and collaborative practices, UCA has the ambition to play a prominent role in the creation of outstanding conditions for excellence that leads to the emergence of cutting-edge research, top-level science and future innovations that will drive major economic and societal transformations.

In the past years, the innovative approach, designed by UCA, has been rewarded through different grants obtained at a national level, such as, but not limited to:

−          In 2016, UCA won an IDEX grant (500 M €), a national competition to select a limited number of Campuses of Excellence able to compete with the best universities in the world (10% of French universities)

−          In 2019, UCA won a 3IA grant, a national competition to create 4 Interdisciplinary Institutes of Artificial Intelligence (3IA), as well as a program of very high-level chairs and support for doctoral students in order to mobilise the entire French potential in Artificial Intelligence 

At a European level, the research excellence of UCA’s ecosystem is also recognised through several ERC grants and Marie S.Curie projects including a CoFund programme. Our research community also participated as coordinators or partners of several Pillar 2 H2020 projects.

UCA is also very active in Erasmus + programme through Capacity building projects, Strategic partnership projects, International mobility projects.



EFMD is the largest European based international association in the fields of quality assurance and management development with 937 members from academia and business based in 91 countries all over the world. EFMD is recognised globally as an accreditation body certifying quality management education through its accreditation labels for institutions (EQUIS), programmes (EPAS), online courses (EOCCS) corporate learning programmes (CLIP), programmes for developing QA mechanisms (EDAF) and impact assessment (BSIS). EFMD publishes the “Entrepreneur's Guide to Building a Successful Business” containing advice from hundreds of business owners in 14 countries. EFMD corporate and academic members participate in 7 interest groups on workplace skills and learning, with the results being published frequently and promoted globally. Through its membership, EFMD has access to a large pool of experts on digital sills and entrepreneurship. Many of them are often speakers in the more than 15 annual international conferences that EFMD organizes in EU and all over the world, reaching more than 30.000 academic and nonacademic management professionals.

CONFORM – Consulenza, Formazione e Management S.c.a.r.l. has been working since 1995 at national and international level, promoting and implementing important research projects, training plans with innovative classroom and e-learning formats and solutions, providing consultancy and technical assistance to companies and the Public Sector, with the support of expert personnel and a consolidated team of trainers, consultants, professionals, managers and entrepreneurs, bearers of successful experience.


Partners for Local Government

Partners for Local Government is a Polish Non-Governmental Organization and it has been working since 2001. Main area of work is the development of civil society and helping local authorities and entrepreneurs in implementation advanced management methods, IT systems and tools, promotion, social actions and others. Within years of cooperation with local governments and business the Foundation got a huge knowledge about their needs and capabilities. It focuses mostly on encouraging local authorities in activities aimed at developing life quality of their citizens, as well as enhancing economic and social development, supporting implementation of business innovative solutions related to internationalisation of the companies and management systems for SMEs. One important branch of the portfolio is developing IT tools for municipalities and business. In last few years Foundation has developed software for managing investment in municipalities. Currently works on online training platform using virtual reality for training purposes. Foundation cooperates with many researchers that deal with local and business development, and in particularly with entrepreneurship, networking, building organizational capacity, implementation of internationalisation strategies, IT tools supporting Human Resources Management.
