She studied insurance and graduated from the Poznan University of Economics and Business (PUEB). In 2007, she received a PhD degree at the same university. Her doctoral thesis was awarded in the Insurance Ombudsman Competition (2007). From 2001 until 2008 she had worked for insurance companies. She joined the Department of Insurance at PUEB in 2008, first as a teaching assistant and since 2009 as an assistant professor. She is the author of numerous articles and book chapters. Her scientific interests focus mainly on health systems and private health insurance, the last one not only from the system approach but also from the product design development point of view. She lectures on these issues and insurance law especially. She is prized as an educator: was awarded by PUEB’s Rector (2014), was nominated Distinguished (Best) Lecturer by the Students’ Parliament of PUEB (2015) and was awarded the Medal of National Education Commission granted by the Ministry of Education (2015).
