Dr. Arkadiusz Kawa, prof. PUEB, together with researchers from Wrocław University of Economics and Business (Prof. Patrycja Klimas, Dr. Karina Sachpazidu, Dr. Sylwia Stańczyk, prof. WUEB, and Dr. Eng. Michał Nadolny), have published an article titled “The 5-dimensional behavioural coopetitor profile: How to measure it?” in the journal Industrial Marketing Management (Impact Factor: 7.8).

In this study, the authors focused on analyzing coopetition, which is the simultaneous cooperation and competition between companies, with a specific emphasis on the behavioral aspects of this phenomenon. They developed and validated a model that captures the key behavioral traits of companies engaged in coopetitive relationships. The model not only provides tools for measuring these dimensions but also highlights the potential for long-term collaboration between entities. The tool was tested on more than 1,200 manufacturing firms, providing a solid foundation for its practical application.

The article contributes to advancing research on coopetition by offering practical guidelines for managers on managing coopetitive relationships effectively.
