PhD Arkadiusz Kawa, prof. PUEB participated from 18 to 22 November 2024 in the Blended Intensive Programme “From Networking to Grant Concept Development” organised by the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences in Tallinn, Estonia.

Among other things, the programme aimed at integrating researchers from different fields (e.g. ICT, Smart City, logistics, educational research) and countries (e.g. Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland and Poland).

Mentors, trainers and evaluators with extensive experience provided the necessary knowledge to develop successful project proposals. Based on common interests, the programme participants developed a proposal concept for the Horizon Europe competition.

In addition, the programme participants had the opportunity to visit Ülemiste – one of the best examples of what a smart city can look like. It is a city of the future where 17,000 people from more than 73 countries work, learn and live.
