Positive programme evaluation for our fields of study
Prof. Barbara Jankowska, Ph.D., chairwoman of the Academic Advancement Board of PUEB and head of the Department of International Competitiveness, has been elected rector of the Poznan University of Economics and Business for the term 2024-2028.
Rector-elect academically specializes in international business issues, particularly those concerning the international competitiveness of a company and industry, foreign direct investment, internationalization strategies for companies and economic clusters. In the past, she was, among other things, chairwoman of the Program Council of the Poznań-Atlanta Executive MBA Program, member of the Council of the PUEB Center for Management Education, the team for the implementation of the PoSzWiN Act in the field of science at UEP. For two terms (2016-2021) she was the National Representative of Poland in the international scientific association – European International Business Academy (EIBA), and also served as President of EIBA.
Professor Barbara Jankowska is the 19th person to assume the position of rector since the foundation of the University in 1926 and the first woman to hold the office. The current rector, Prof. Maciej Żukowski, Ph.D., will serve until the end of August 2024.
