UEP as organiser of the 55th TRC Meeting - Gdansk 2023

The Poznan University of Economics and Business served as the organizer and host institution for the event entitled „55th TRC Meeting – Gdańsk 2023” in days April 20-23, 2023. This was a recurring meeting of international tourism research experts from numerous European countries who share knowledge and experiences in conducting tourism research during annual meetings initiated in 1960 when the Tourist Research Centre (TRC) organization was established. The internationally prestigious TRC organization was created in conjunction with the world’s oldest organization of scientists and practitioners in the field of tourism – the International Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism (AIEST).
The meeting was opened by the Rector of Poznan University of Economics and Business, Prof. Maciej Żukowski, and the entire organization was supervised by Justyna Majewska, Associate Professor from Department of International Economics. The conference was attended by 30 people from 13 European countries. The next meeting in the TRC Meeting series will take place in April 2024 in Istanbul, Turkey.
