Reader account

The PUEB Main Library allows people using the Lending Library services to check their Reader Account status online.

If you wish to check your account:

1. Select the tab: ‘Reader Account’, which is located on the home page of the PUEB Main Library online catalogue.
2. log in by entering:
   the number of your Reader Card or Electronic Student Card (ELS) if this was the basis for your enrolment in the Lending Room,
   password (the default password is 2 digits of the month and 2 digits of the day of birth e.g. 1130).

Once you have logged in for the first time, you can change your password under the Reader Details tab to a different 4-digit password.

Please note that you can only log in if you have an active account.
You cannot use the service if you have not renewed your account.

A Reader Account will enable you to:

• obtain information:
  – about the books you have borrowed,
  – about their return date,
  – about overdue or other violations of the rules and about related system blocks,
  – about ordered and reserved items from the Reading Room*,
• extending the deadline for the return of selected items,
• ordering and reserving books from the Reading Room for lending outside*,
• settlement of fees for late return of books via Przelewy24 app.
