The team of the Department of Macroeconomics and Agricultural Economics researches sustainability economics, agricultural economics, environmental and natural resource economics, and institutional economics.
About the Department
Therefore, our aim is to combine and explore a wide range of interdisciplinary and complex issues, providing a unique research approach to understanding the interrelationships between different – economic, environmental and social – spheres of activity. We publish our scientific work in world-leading journals belonging to prestigious publishers, including Elsevier (Environmental Impact Assessment Review; Environmental Science & Policy; Journal of Cleaner Production; Journal of Rural Studies; Land Use Policy; Science of the Total Environment); Springer (Environmental Science and Pollution Research; Sustainability Science); Taylor and Francis (Economic Research; International Journal of Agricultural Sustainability). We are active and influential in acquiring research projects and collaborating with national and foreign research centres in the field of agricultural and environmental economics, which allows us to achieve synergies and raise the level of our research. All this makes the Department of Macroeconomics and Agricultural Economics one of the best and most respected departments at the Poznań University of Economics and Business!
