Institute of Finance

The Institute of Finance is a research unit in the structure of the Poznań University of Economics and Business. The Institute was set up on October 1, 2019, emerging from the liquidated Faculty of Economics.

The Institute of Finance consists of four departments: the Department of Money and Banking, the Department of Investment and Financial Markets, the Department of Public Finance and the Department of Insurance.

About Institute of Finance

The Institute’s academics conduct scientific research in areas such as: central and commercial banking, monetary policy, financial system, public finance (including local government finance), financial market (money and equity), corporate finance, personal finance, economic and pension insurance, financial and budget accounting, audit, financial control and supervision as well as internal audit and control, new technology in finance.

The Institute’s educational activity includes conducting lectures in the fields of Finance and Accounting, Finance, Audit, Investments, Finance and Business Accounting, Finance (English course), Supervision and Control (practical course). Postgraduate studies are also organized by all Departments of the Institute of Finance.
