Workshops on generative artificial intelligence with experts from Microsoft and Żabka Group
In the first part, participants acquired skills in effectively creating and optimizing initial commands for language models (known as “prompt engineering”) such as GPT-3 and GPT-4. The goal of this was to get precise and useful answers from the AI.
During the workshops, students worked with Azure AI Studio, a platform for creating applications using generative artificial intelligence. This platform enables to explore, construct, test, and deploy projects. The topic of Large Language Models, which are the basis for creating language assistants, was also discussed. Students understood how modifying various parameters affects the results generated by ChatGPT.
In the practical part, participants experimented with different versions of AI models, such as GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 Turbo, learning how to effectively use tokens when interacting with ChatGPT. “GPT-3.5 Turbo” is an improved version of GPT-3.5, designed to run faster, but with some limitations in understanding complex questions and creating advanced content. In turn, ChatGPT-4, as a newer and more advanced version, is distinguished by better understanding of complex queries and creating more detailed content. The difference between these models lies in their natural language processing capabilities and the complexity of the generated responses.
The event took place on December 15, 2023. The workshops were conducted by Kamil Stachowicz and Błażej Miśkiewicz.
