Poznań Night of Scientists

On September 30, 2022, Poznań hosted the Night of Scientists, an event to popularize science in Poznań universities and scientific centers funded under the EU Horizon Europe programme.

This year’s Night of Scientists, organized at the Poznań University of Economics and Business (PUEB) by the Research Department, offered workshops and lectures related to “green economics,” environmental protection or consumer behavior.

During the live broadcast and connection to the Poznań Night of Scientists studio, organized by PCSS, everyone had the opportunity to see and learn how PUEB is researching a sustainable economy and green deal.

The event featured:

• classes and scientific experiments, on microorganisms, biodegradation and water,
• experiments with paper, soap, packaging, bubbles and numerous phenomena in the industrial products laboratory,
• a workshop on domotics at the Internet of Things Workshop,
• demonstrations and games with molecular gastronomy,
• contests and quizzes,
• tips on how not to be fooled on the Internet,
• the subject of the formation of pro-environmental attitudes and consumer decisions,
• a workshop on the secrets of the mind.

About 100 guests from Wielkopolska – children, teenagers and adults – took advantage of the unique invitation to the walls of PUEB.
