PUEB researchers have created a Student Pre-Incubation and Project Challenge Programme
Our researchers – dr Marcin Bielicki from the Department of Investment and Financial Markets, dr Adam Weinert and mgr Robert Banaś from the Department of Strategic Management – have created a Student Pre-Incubation and Project Challenge Programme with the Amica Group. The concept combines the areas of corporate social responsibility, employer branding and HR, and thus generates shared value for students and company employees.
The goal of the venture was to help students who are at the threshold of their careers to enter the job market and to introduce them to the business space. The program enabled students to gain sound and practical knowledge, gain experience and meet other persons interested in topics related to entrepreneurship, management and creation of innovation.
On May 27, 2022, the three best projects were selected, and the teams that developed them were awarded a prize by Amica Group CEO Jacek Rutkowski in the amount of PLN 5,000 each. The ideas presented – an interface for ovens, the application of the Internet of Things to household appliances, and a platform for environmental and sports gamification – have a chance to be implemented.
The program featured 7 student teams and 24 participants from three Poznań universities. The program included numerous advisory consultations with tutors and experts, during which ideas for practical implementation in the company were analyzed.
