Results of the Professor Wacław Wilczyński National Competition
The 6th edition of the Professor Wacław Wilczyński National Competition for the best doctoral thesis in the fields of economic theory and history and economic policy under the auspices of DGA S.A. has been resolved. The competition is organized by the PUEB Foundation.
Six doctoral theses were submitted for the competition. The competition jury deliberated under the leadership of prof. dr. hab. Marek Ratajczak.
The main prize of PLN 5,000 was won by dr Jagoda Kaszowska-Mojsa of the Krakow University of Economics for her paper entitled “The role of systemic risk in the origin, course and effects of the financial crisis in the EU. “The role of systemic risk in the origin, course and effects of financial crisis in the EU countries.”
Distinctions were awarded to:
- dr Joanna Niedźwiedzińska of the Warsaw School of Economics, for her paper entitled “Inflation targeting-implications of central banks’ institutional set-ups,”
- dr Jakub Janus of the Krakow University of Economics for his paper entitled “Exit strategies of major central banks from unconventional monetary policy.”
