The PUEB Rector is the chairman of the Council of Rectors of the City of Poznań

At the meeting of the Council of Rectors of the City of Poznań on October 26th PUEB rector prof. dr hab. Maciej Żukowski was elected the chairman for the two year period until the end of August 2024.

The entity is composed of the rectors of public universities in Poznań:

• Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań,
• Poznań University of Physical Education,
• Poznań University of Technology,
• Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts Poznan,
• University of Economics and Business in Poznań,
• Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań,
• Poznan University of Medical Sciences,
• University of Life Sciences in Poznań

and

• President of the Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences,
• President of the Poznań Society for the Advancement of Arts and Sciences,
• Chairman of the Council of Chancellors of Public Universities in Poznań.

According to the regulations, the activities of the Council are managed by one of the rectors, elected for a period of 2 years.
