POZNAN UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS and BUSINESS
Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Poznań University of Economics and Business fulfils the obligation to provide information to all natural persons whose data it processes.
The controller of the personal data is Poznań University of Economics and Business (Poznan 61-875, Niepodległości 10 Avenue, (NIP) 777-00-05-497, (REGON) 00000-1525.
The Administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer, supervising the correctness of personal data processing, who can be contacted by e-mail at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org or by letter to the postal address of the Administrator.
Depending on the purpose of processing, your personal data may be shared with trusted external entities providing services to the University on a permanent or one-off basis under appropriate agreements.
As a rule, your personal data will not be transferred to third countries (outside the EU) and international organizations, unless the Administrator's partner in organizing the conference is a partner from outside the EU.
In connection with the University's processing of your personal data, you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify your personal data; erase or restrict the processing of your personal data; object to the processing of your personal data if it is based on Article 6(1)(e) GDPR i.e. the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR - activities carried out in the legitimate interest of the controller; withdrawal of consent in the case of data the processing of which is based on your free consent, with the reservation that it does not affect the lawfulness of data processing performed before the withdrawal (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); lodging a complaint to the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
Your personal data will be processed in order to:
- carrying out the conference in accordance with the provisions of the regulations (informing about the schedule, preparing badges, preparing the list of participants, publishing conference materials and others) (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) - 5 years calculated from the end of the calendar year in which the conference was held;
- issuance of certificates and for services (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e of the DPA) -1 year from the end of the conference;
- documentation of the event by taking photographs and/or audiovisual recordings (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter e, GDPR) - until you object to the processing;
- vindication of claims and protection against claims - processing is necessary for the legitimate purposes of the administrator consisting in protecting the interests of the entrepreneur (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) - 6 years counted from the date of termination of cooperation.
Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to participate in the conference.
