The event is a result of a long-time efforts of the Department of International Marketing and the Department of Marketing Strategies of Poznan University of Economics and Business. It is also a significant distinction, because Poland is the second country in Central and Eastern Europe (besides Hungary) where the conference will be held.
Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group (IMP) brings together leading scientists from all around the world, and its main representatives are Håkan Håkansson, Ivan Snehota, Lars-Gunnar Mattsson, David Ford and Alexandra Waluszewski.
The Congress which will be organised from 30.08 - 03.09.2015 at the Poznań University of Economics and Business will involve about 250 guests from over 20 countries.
The idea behind the organizers is to create a forum for exchange of ideas, views and experiences on issues of business networks and interactions between actors occurring on the market. The theme of the World Congress of Marketing - 2016 IMP Poznan will be a dynamic transformation of markets, networks and relationships, which is reflected, among other things, in emergence of new business models, creating innovations, changes in the existing strategies of companies and many other aspects of business activity.
The event, in addition to the conference, also includes a Business Day and a Doctoral Colloquium. Business Day offers the opportunity to meet representatives of leading Polish companies who will present effective ways of managing business networks from the perspective of their own companies. 25-29 August prof. Krzysztof Fonfara, dr. Adam Dymitrowski, dr. Łukasz Małys, dr. Milena Ratajczak-Mrozek and dr. Marcin Soniewiski attanded international scientific conference 31th Annual IMP Conference and Doctoral Colloquium Organizing Sustainable BtoB Relationships – Designing in Changing Networks at the University of Southern Denmark in Kolding.
Prof. Krzysztof Fonfara, dr. Łukasz Małys and dr. Milena Ratajczak-Mrozek presented a paper "An interpretation and operationalization of the concept of company internationalization maturity (network approach)", and dr. Adam Dymitrowski and dr. Marcin Soniewiski paper "Companies cooperation in the internationalization process and their competitive advantage".
Additionally, dr. Milena Ratajczak-Mrozek chaired special track “Understanding internationalization of the firm in an internationalizing” and gave lectures at Doctoral Colloquium.
