Charges

The use of the collections and services of the Main Library is free of charge except for the fees for:

  • issuing a reader’s card and account activation to employees, students and PhD students of PUEB and public higher education institutions belonging to the Poznań Science Library Foundation and employees of the Raczyński and PTPN libraries – PLN 12.00,
  • subsequent activation of a reader’s account (for each academic year, excluding PUEB employees) – PLN 12.00,
  • issuing a duplicate of a Reader Card – PLN 12.00,
  • an untimely return of a library item, for each day per volume – PLN 0.20,
  • costs of sending a postal reminder – PLN 3.90,
  • loss, damage or destruction of a library copy – a copy of this or another work indicated by the Lending Library head,
  • damage or destruction of the binding of a library copy – the cost of making a new binding indicated by the head of the Lending Library based on the amount paid by the Lending Library.

 

Overdue fines payment via the Przelewy24 app.

  • Go to the Main Library online catalogue and log in to your Reader Account.
  • Information regarding accrued fines can be found in the ‘Fines/Blocks‘ tab.
  • There, you can also pay fines for overdue books you have not returned yet.
  • After payment, the due date for the books will be extended by three working days.
  • If you do not return the books or extend their rental period within three working days, the fine will start to accrue again.
  • To settle a fine, click on the Przelewy24 logo. You will be redirected to the Przelewy24 website, where you can choose the payment method (BLIK, quick transfer).
  • After the payment is completed, you will be redirected back to the Main Library catalogue, where you will see a payment confirmation.
  • If the payment was successful, the amount of the fees will change to 0.00. You should also receive an email from the Przelewy24 service.
