Charges

The access to the Main Library’s collections and facilities is free of charge, excluding:

• issuing the Reader’s Card to:
  – PUEB postgraduate listener students – PLN 12,
  – PUEB employees – PLN 12,
  – PUEB alumni club members – PLN 12,
  – students, doctoral students, and employees of public universities belonging to the Poznań Foundation of Scientific Libraries (PFBN) – PLN 12,
• issuing a duplicate of the Reader’s Card – PLN 12,
• late return of a library item, per day per volume: PLN 0.30, but no more than PLN 300 in total per item,
• losing, damaging or destroying a library item – an identical or equivalent copy of said item, to be decided by the Head of the Lending Library.

All payments for issuing a Reader’s Card or its duplicate can be issued in the Lending Library.

Payments for a late return of books can be issued in the Lending Library or through the Przelewy24 app:

· Go to the Main Library’s online catalogue and log in to your Reader’s Account.

· Information about the fees charged can be found in the Messages tab.

· This is also where you can pay for books that have not yet been returned and are past their due date.

· After paying the late fee, you have 3 more days (workdays) to return the books.

· If during those 3 days you fail to return the books or extend the lending period, the late fee will begin to accrue again.

· In order to pay, click on the Przelewy24 logo. You will then be re-directed to the Przelewy24 website, where you can choose the desired form of the payment (BLIK, fast transfer).

· After completing the payment at Przelewy24, the website will re-direct you back to the Library’s catalogue and an information about the successful payment will appear.

· When the payment is complete, your fee amount will change to PLN 0. You should also receive an e-mail confirmation from Przelewy24 website.
