“Not only books... A selection of other valuable prints in the PUEB Main Library's collection”
An exhibition presenting securities from Professor Zenobia Knakiewicz’s personal collection, included in the PUEB Main Library’s possession. It presents banknotes valid on the territory of Poland during World War I, the inter-war period and World War II, treasury bonds issued in the 1920s and 1930s, shares of the Lilpop, Rau and Loewenstein company, Russian banknotes from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and German banknotes from the 1920s and 1930s. The exhibition features a historical commentary on the evolution of paper money in Poland and around the world. A particular focus is given to the currency reform of Władysław Grabski, celebrating its centenary this year. In addition, the banknotes are supplemented with descriptions and interesting facts about the origins of each. A separate display case is dedicated to Professor Zenobia Knakiewicz and her scientific achievements. The exhibition can be viewed in the glass-cases at the Lending Library.

Post-competition photography exhibition Man and their passions 2011 in the Lending Library and Reading Room. The Photography Competition “MAN AND THEIR PASSIONS” was organized by the Municipal Cultural Centre in Turek. Wielkopolska Press Photo 2021
Post-competition photography exhibition Wielkopolska Press Photo 2021 in the Lending Library. The Wielkopolska Press Photo competition was organized by the Provincial Public Library and Cultural Animation Centre in Poznań and was a review of the achievements of the local and regional press photojournalists of the Wielkopolska Voivodeship, as well as individuals with no professional ties to any editorial office, documenting the life of the region in 2021. Digitalization, dissemination and preservation of an exclusive collection of reports from 1857-1948
An exhibition dedicated to the project implemented by the Library in 2020-2022, entitled “Digitalization, dissemination and preservation of an exclusive collection of reports from 1857-1948”. As part of the project tasks, the collection of 812 proceedings and reports from 1857-1948 was subjected to restoration work, digitized and shared in an electronic document version on the Wielkopolska Digital Library website. The exhibition, displayed in glass-cases in the Reading Room, includes the oldest reports in German and selected reports on Poznań and the Greater Poland region. Duration: from 13.07.2023
