Arkadiusz Kawa, prof. PUEB, participated in the Symposium and Congress of the Council of Polish Engineers in North America entitled “Engineering for a Safer Future’ from 7 to 11 November. Engineering for a Safer Future’. The conference took place in New York, USA. Arkadiusz Kawa spoke in the session entitled “Sustainable Development and Clean Environment”, where he presented energy issues in the transport sector and the role of logistics in cities, as well as solutions to reduce the negative impact of urban supply.

Many current trends and challenges in sustainable development and environmental protection, cyber security, artificial intelligence and technology transfer were discussed during the conference. Participation in the symposium provided an opportunity to network with other researchers from home and abroad, which may soon develop into research collaborations and academic exchanges.
