Use of databases
The PUEB Main Library enables the use of electronic databases, which contain full texts of books and journals, financial and statistical data, legal acts and case law.
You can access the following databases:
- in the Library
– from all stationary computers located in the Reading Room (3rd floor);
– from users’ laptops (Wi-Fi UEP); - at home (access after logging in via the tab: Access the databases outside the PUEB network)
– service available to employees, PhD students and other PUEB students with an active Reader Account and a Reader Card (you can activate those in the Lending Room, the fee is PLN 12.00)
– to log in, enter your Reader Card number (the sequence of digits that you will find on your card under the barcode) and your password: the default is two digits of the month and two digits of the day of your date of birth (e.g. 11 April is 0411).
Multi-search engine: will facilitate your use of the print collections available in the Library and the electronic databases subscribed to by the Library. Through a single search window, you will be able to browse publications that are available in full-text databases as well as traditional library resources.
You may only use the electronic collections for your personal use and exclusively for research and educational purposes, according to the terms of the licence agreements and copyright law.
