Use of databases

The PUEB Main Library enables the use of electronic databases, which contain full texts of books and journals, financial and statistical data, legal acts and case law.

You can access the following databases:

  • in the Library
    – from all stationary computers located in the Reading Room (2nd floor) and in the Lending Library (3rd floor);
    – from users’ laptops (Wi-Fi UEP);
  • at home (access after logging in via the tab: Access the databases outside the PUEB network)
    – service available to employees, PhD students and other PUEB students with an active Reader Account and a Reader Card (you activate it in the Lending Library; the fee is PLN 12.00).
    To log in enter your Reader Card number as follows:
    – for students with electronic student ID, use your album number,
    – for students with a standard plastic student ID, use the 8 digits located below or above the barcode,
    – for external users, enter the number on the Reader Card issued by our Library,
    enter your library account password (by default, two digits of the month and two digits of the day of your date of birth).

Multi-search engine: will help you browse the Library’s printed collections and the electronic databases available through the Library’s subscription. That is full-text databases and traditional library resources, all in a single search window.

You may only use the electronic collections for your personal use and exclusively for research and educational purposes, according to the terms of the licence agreements and copyright law.
