Department of Business Relations and International Marketing participation in the 22nd edition of the Summer School of Management

On June 5-7, 2025, all employees of the Department of Business Relations and International Marketing actively participated in the 22nd edition of the Summer School of Management, whose theme this year was: “Artificial intelligence in management – new perspectives for science and business”. The event brought together more than 370 participants from all over Poland and provided an excellent opportunity for substantive exchange of views and integration of the scientific community.

In particular, Dr. Milena Ratajczak-Mrozek, Prof. UEP took part in the panel discussion “Strategies of organizations and business models in the conditions of development of artificial intelligence” and co-organized the session entitled “Cooperation of scientific associations in management – challenges and opportunities”, with the participation of representatives of international scientific associations: EURAM, ACEDE, EGOS, CEEMAN and KNOiZ.

Prof. Dr. Arkadiusz Kawa appeared as a panelist in the session “Artificial intelligence – a methodological breakthrough in shaping research and future research directions”, dedicated to new research methods and the future of management science in the context of AI development.

All employees of the Department were also involved in the scientific part of the event – preparing scientific posters and articles presenting various aspects of the application of artificial intelligence in management research. Dr. Marcin Wieczerzycki was awarded 3rd place in the posters competition.

Staff participation in the Conference was financed by funds granted by the Minister of Science under the “Regional Initiative for Excellence” Program for the implementation of the project “The Poznań University of Economics and Business for Economy 5.0: Regional Initiative – Global Effects (RIGE).
