Dr hab. Milena Ratajczak-Mrozek, Professor at Poznań University of Economics and Business (PUEB), received the “Best in Track – Emerging Markets and International Marketing” award during the AMA Winter Academic Conference, organized by the American Marketing Association.
The award was granted for the paper titled “Navigating Learning Advantage of Newness and Time Compression Diseconomies in Relation to Earliness and Speed of SME Internationalization”, co-authored with Martin Johanson, Wensong Bai, Zilvinas Zidonis, Barbara Francioni, and Luis Oliveira.
The awarded paper addresses the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on the tension between the learning advantage of newness and the limitations related to time compression diseconomies. The authors analyze how the earliness and speed of entering foreign markets influence the international development processes of SMEs.
