About the catalogues

Online catalogue:

• contains information about the printed collections of the Main Library and how to access them,
• you can search the collection by author, title, signature, keywords, subject headings, series, ISBN and other criteria,
• when searching for the literature you need, pay attention to the signature of the selected item, the collection it is included in, its location and availability,
• once you have logged into your account, you can create a cache list.

 

Multi-search engine:

• enables you to search for information about the printed and digital collections of the Main Library,
• you can search for publications by author, title, keywords,
• descriptions of e-publications contain links to the full texts,
• the tab “Find e-journals and e-books” enables you to search for journal and book titles available in the databases offered by the Main Library.

 

Card catalogues:

• The PUEB Main Library has alphabetical and subject catalogues created for the years 1945-1974 and 1975-2004, they contain information on all the Library’s collections (except: undergraduate, master, postgraduate and doctoral theses) received up to 2004,
• register books, journals, serial publications, brochures, maps, micrographic materials and multimedia,
• are located in the Reading Room on the 2nd floor.

• WorldCat– the world’s largest library catalogue.
