Accessible and friendly Library

The Library responds to the needs of its users on an ongoing basis. We try to make access to the Library and our resources as friendly as possible.

 

The Library is located in the Collegium Altum. The building has several architectural features:

  • it is equipped with a convenient ramp for wheelchairs,
  • automatic opening doors to the building,
  • a lift to facilitate movement between floors,
  • evacuation chairs for people with disabilities are available on each floor of the building,
  • emergency summoning system for people with disabilities is located next to the elevators,
  • a Book Drop point for the return of borrowed materials on the ground floor.

The Main Library has a workstation with hardware and software dedicated to visually impaired and blind individuals.

The Reading Room (room 320) includes:

  • Plustek OpticBook A300 scanner
