– each person is limited to 1 hour of computer use. That time, however, can be extended if no other users are willing to use the PC station;

– in the case of single-station databases, priority is given to the user who wants to use the database in question.

When you have finished your work on the computer, please log off and notify the librarian on duty.

You may only use the electronic collections for your personal use and exclusively for research and educational purposes, according to the terms of the licence agreements and copyright law.

If necessary, please use your personal headset/headphones.

Laptops and wireless internet:

PUEB’s Wi-Fi network is available throughout the Library. You can use your laptop and connect to the network directly or wirelessly (access in computer booths).

If you are our student, PhD student or employee, connect to one of the networks (UE_Hotspot, UE_Hotspot_SEC). The login is your NIU number; the password is the same as for USOSweb/employee mail.

The UE_Hotspot_SEC network only needs to be set up once, while UE_Hotspot requires you to re-enter your NIU and password on subsequent connections.

If you are a user external to PUEB, please request WiFi at the User Service Desk. You will receive a single-use username and password that will be active for 8 hours.
