Parent and Child Room
The PUEB Main Library offers a room for parents with children.
Where is it located and who can use it:
- the room for parents with children is located in the Lending Room (room 224),
- is available during its opening hours,
- can be used by PUEB employees, PhD student or a PUEB student.
What is in the room:
- a place to work (desk, armchair, sofa),
- furniture and small items for children – books, colouring books, crayons.
How to use the room:
- report to the librarian on shift at the Lending Room,
- sign the visitor list and show your ID,
- leave your coats and bags in the lockers; take the necessary items with you in the available baskets.
Using the collections:
- you can use your own materials and books from the Lending Room,
- you can order items from the Reading Room by email (czytelnia@bg.ue.poznan.pl) or in person,
- after use, return the books to the library trolley.
A few important rules:
- the parent is responsible for the child and for the materials and equipment in the room,
- the child must remain under constant supervision,
- after finishing work, the room should be cleaned up and the librarian informed of your departure,
- the room should be leaving 15 minutes before the Lending Room is closed,
- the room may not be handed over to other people.
