We also draw on the methods and achievements of other sciences. A comprehensive approach allows for better insights. We focus on three critical areas of economic life: – the role of information in shaping the decisions of its participants, – the public relations and communication strategies of the entities operating in it, and the impact of information on the processes of the global economy. Practical teaching – the Department staff is long-term practitioners. While developing skills and knowledge, we focus on competences needed in the economy. We have a professional TV studio and a CATI/CAWI research laboratory, and our students learn how to build communication strategies and create them themselves. Openness to cooperation – our classes are not only meetings between students and lecturers. As part of our courses, we invite many guests: practitioners of economic life, communication and public relations experts and representatives of the business community from the Polish Public Relations Association (PSPR), the Public Relations Agencies Association (SAPR), and the Polish Public Relations Consultancies Association (ZFPR), most of whom are our graduates.
