    General rules

Rules for Short-Term Mobility under the Erasmus+ Programme

Students who are unable to participate in long-term mobility (e.g., due to their field of study or reduced opportunities) may apply for short-term study mobility.

    General Principles

    • Duration: 5 to 30 days.
    • For first- and second-cycle students, short-term mobility must include a mandatory virtual component (not required for doctoral candidates).
    • A minimum of 3 ECTS credits must be earned during the mobility (not applicable to doctoral candidates).

    Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP)

    • Duration: 5 to 30 days.
    • A virtual component is mandatory for all participants (minimum/maximum duration not specified).
    • Participation in a BIP should enable students to earn at least 3 ECTS credits.

    Funding Rules for Short-Term Mobility

Each qualified participant (student or doctoral candidate) is entitled to the following financial support:

    • Individual support: €79 per day for up to 14 days of mobility. UEP funds only five days of stay and a maximum of two travel days.
    • Additional support for participants with fewer opportunities:
      • €100 for mobility lasting 5–14 days.
      • €150 for mobility lasting 15–30 days.
      • A travel allowance based on distance is also provided.

Definition of “participants with fewer opportunities”:

    • Persons with disabilities (confirmed by a disability certificate).
    • Persons from disadvantaged backgrounds (confirmed by a decision granting a social scholarship).

Supporting documentation must be attached to the application form.

Scholarships are granted for the actual period of stay abroad, confirmed by a certificate of attendance or equivalent document issued by the host institution. Two additional travel days (one before and one after) are covered. No scholarship is granted for the virtual component.

    Qualification Process

Recruitment is continuous until funds are exhausted. Announcements will be published on the university website and sent to programme directors of relevant fields.

Applications must be submitted no later than one month before the planned mobility. Selection is based on:

    • Submission of complete documentation at least four weeks before mobility.
    • Minimum GPA: 3.5.
    • Foreign language proficiency: B2 level or higher.

For courses with limited places, the GPA will be taken into consideration.

    Required Documents

    • Application form (Appendix 1) signed by the applicant and Programme Director (Doctoral School Director for PhD candidates).
    • Certificate from Student Service Office confirming student status and GPA for the previous semester (not required for PhD candidates).
    • Written permission of the Programme Director for trips during the academic year (not required for mobilities during summer break; Doctoral School Director’s consent required for PhD candidates).
    • Proof of foreign language proficiency (certificate, lecturer’s confirmation, or PUEB Erasmus+ qualification test).

Applications should be submitted to the International Relations Office (Room 221A) or by email to monika.malek@ue.poznan.pl.

    After Qualification

Qualified applicants will receive email confirmation with further instructions. To sign the agreement, confirmation of acceptance by the host university with mobility dates must be submitted. Decisions will be announced within two weeks of application submission.

Before departure, participants prepare a Learning Agreement for short-term mobility. The programme will be agreed upon by the home university, host university, and participant. After mobility, students must submit:

    • Certificate of Attendance/Confirmation of Study Period.
    • Complete the mandatory EU Survey in the Beneficiary Module.

Settlement of mobility must be completed by 30 June 2026.
