The First International Alumni Reunion at PUEB

Last Saturday, June 13, the walls of the Poznań University of Economics and Business (PUEB) were once again filled with the voices of our international alumni during the first-ever International Alumni Reunion. This unique event is part of our university’s centenary celebrations and demonstrates the immense strength of our global community.

The gathering kicked off with a networking session on the PUEB observation terrace, where our alumni could admire the city skyline and learn about the most iconic landmarks on the horizon.

The event’s program offered a solid dose of knowledge and inspiration. During the lecture “Watch the Traps,” Dr. Anna Matysek, Associate Professor at PUEB, discussed the psychological and business traps we unconsciously fall into that sabotage our work, careers, and personal lives. Regular self-reflection sets exceptional leaders apart from average professionals.

We capped off the day with an evening performance of “The Hat” and a gala dinner at the Polish Dance Theatre.

The event was attended by Prof. Łukasz Puślecki, Vice-Rector for External Relations. In welcoming our graduates, he emphasized the vital importance of building and maintaining international business and academic relationships.

The project was funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

Thank you all for coming! You proved that being a PUEB alumnus is a lifelong brand and a badge of pride!
