Department of Business Relationships and International Marketing
Research interests of the Department of Business Relationships and International Marketing include relationship management between companies and other external and internal actors, contemporary problems of international marketing (including both B2B and B2C markets) and issues related to innovation, the process of internationalization and sustainable development of a company.

About the Department
The Department’s researchers carry out scientific projects in cooperation with numerous foreign institutions from Europe, the United States, and China, as well as they teach abroad, e.g. in Japan and the Netherlands. They have been also involved in consulting projects, e.g. for the Ministry of Development, Volkswagen Group Poland, and Regio Group.
The Department’s employees have for years been strongly involved in the development of the IMP Group (also as Board representatives), the scientific organization that brings together researchers focusing on the study of business relationships and networks.
The research results carried out by the Department’s employees are regularly published in renowned international journals, e.g. Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of International Management, Journal of Business Research, Creativity and Innovation Management, Marketing Theory, and by publishers such as Palgrave Macmillan, and Routledge.
The Department’s employees are successful in the area of teaching, which is reflected in the very high evaluations of their courses awarded by students of our University.

- Relationship management, including customer relationship management (CRM) and supply chain management,

- Innovative business models,
- Knowledge resource management within organizations,
- Digitalization, technological change management, and high-tech firms,
- Sustainable development – from the perspective of firms and their outcomes (especially in the plant-based food and vegan industries),
- Firms’ internationalization, international business, including international marketing,
- Logistics,
- E-commerce,
- Family businesses in the tourism sector – issues of succession, inter-organizational relationships, and technology adoption.
