Conference "Horizons of Science: MSCA grants and other national and international support programmes for young researchers"

On 13 May 2026, the Poznań University of Economics and Business hosted the conference “Horizons of Science: MSCA grants and other national and international support programmes for young researchers”, organised by the Western Poland MSCA4WP Contact Point together with the NAWA-EURAXESS Wielkopolska network. The event was addressed to doctoral candidates, young researchers, and anyone interested in developing a research career and securing research funding.

The programme included sessions on the EURAXESS system, Fulbright Poland scholarships, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (Horizon Europe), DAAD grants, funding from the Foundation for Polish Science, National Science Centre financing, and NAWA programmes, along with a panel of grant recipients sharing their experience with applications and project implementation.

The conference gave young researchers from the region a direct opportunity to connect with research-funding institutions and exchange experience on securing international grants.
