Department Representatives at the 42nd IMP Conference in Ancona
From 31 August to 4 September 2026, representatives of the Department participated in the international 42nd IMP Conference, held in Ancona, Italy. The conference was organised by the international research network The Industrial Marketing and Purchasing Group (IMP) together with Marche Polytechnic University.
During the conference, Prof. Milena Ratajczak-Mrozek presented the paper “Creating social impact in issue-based networks: The interplay of knowledge-based dynamic capabilities and network capability”, co-authored by Anna Sibińska. She also co-chaired the special track “Resilience and Antifragility in Business Networks”.
Dr Aleksandra Hauke-Lopes presented the paper “Staying in the game: Small-firm resilience and value creation in asymmetrical business relationships” and co-authored the paper “AI-Enabled Interaction Simulators for Researching Business Networks”, prepared jointly with Matin Taheriruh, Elisa Carloni, and Tuukka Ahoniemi. In addition, she co-chaired the special track “Resource Interaction for Sustainability in Business Networks”.
The conference was also attended by PhD candidate Anna Gruszyńska-Radecka, who presented her doctoral research during the Doctoral Colloquium. Her dissertation is entitled “Knowledge sharing mechanisms in the interplay of social and business dimensions of B-to-B relationships”.
Participation in the conference provided an opportunity to engage in discussions with the international research community specialising in business relationships and networks, as well as to further develop research collaboration within the IMP community.
