Gdańsk University of Technology (Faculty of Management and Economics) welcomes submissions to the conference on
Technology, Innovation and Growth (TIG 2024). The conference will take place on
23-24 May, 2024 in
Gdańsk, Poland – a beautiful, historic city by the Baltic Sea and a birthplace of the Solidarity movement.

About the conference:
- The conference will provide a forum for economists working in the field of economics of innovation / international economics / economic growth / industrial organisation and related fields to present their ongoing research on the economic role of innovation and technological progress (with a particular focus on automation, digitalisation and AI).
- Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome.
- The conference will also summarize the outcomes of the project “Technological specialization and productivity divergence in the age of digitalisation, automation and AI”, financed by the National Science Centre, Poland (PI: Aleksandra Parteka).
- Conference fee: 150 EUR (reduced fee for PhD students: 100 EUR)
