the international scientific conference KNOWCON 2026: Knowledge on Economics and Management 

Dear Madam/Sir,

The Faculty of Arts, Palacký University Olomouc and the Department of Economic and Managerial Studies would like to invite you to the 21st anniversary of the international scientific conference KNOWCON 2026: Knowledge on Economics and Management (before 2019 as Knowledge for Market Use) that will be held on December 3-4, 2026 in Olomouc (Czech Republic).

Participant registration and abstract submission deadline is June 14, 2026.

Conference language is English, contributions to the conference proceedings are accepted in English only. The conference proceedings will be published electronically with an ISBN and sent to Web of Science to be evaluated.

Participants will be able to choose between personal attendance and online attendance. On-campus participants may choose either a traditional conference presentation or the new Paper Development Workshop. The workshop is intended for participants who would like to receive developmental feedback on a paper idea, abstract, manuscript draft, or revise-and-resubmit paper. It may be selected either instead of a standard conference paper contribution or in addition to it. More information about the workshop format is available on the conference website.

KNOWCON is also particularly suitable for BA, MA, and PhD students, as well as early-career researchers, who would like to present work in progress, receive constructive feedback, and discuss their ideas in an international academic environment.

The conference takes place during the Advent period, which is associated with a number of cultural events in the city, such as the traditional Christmas market.
