International Summer University (ISU)

Osnabrück Campus, July 10 – August 1, 2025

Course offer:

• Marketing: Understanding of Consumers and Markets (undergraduate/graduate)
• Organisational Culture and Behaviour (undergraduate)
• Managing Mulinationals through an Era of Disrupted Globalization (undergraduate/graduate)

Students choose one course, which is then combined with classes on German language, Intercultural Competence, Facts about Germany and Osnabrück as well as city trips, company visits and cultural activities.

Students meet participants from a variety of countries and study in an intercultural environment. The subjects are taught by academics from Osnabrück and its international partner universities with plenty of professional experience.

Upon successful participation students receive a certificate of attendance and 5 ECTS credit points. The program is taught in English.

Université de Lorraine is offering a summer school from June 10 to 22, 2025 in Nancy (France). The title is: “French Horizons Bootcamp: bridging art and inclusion”.

This all-English program is open to all international students, with no prior knowledge required. Participation in the bootcamp earns 6 ECTS credits.

The Summer Artificial Intelligence Program is designed for students eager to immerse themselves in the world of AI. The program will take place over three weeks, from June 30th to July 18th, and provides an excellent opportunity to learn from experts, work on cutting-edge projects, and network with peers.

Program Highlights:

– Dates: June 30th to July 18th (3 weeks).

– Classes: morning sessions focusing on AI theory and practical applications.

– Company visits: each week, students will visit a company related to the course. These visits are mandatory as they complement the course content.

– Cultural activities: on weekends, we’ll offer optional cultural activities such as museum visits and city tours to explore the local area.

Summer School in Nijmegen (HAN)

Dates:from 16 June – 4 July 2025.

Although the program is offered at undergraduate level, it is open to both graduate and undergraduate students from our partner universities.

The Program

• The three week program is made up of one-week courses in the fields of health, social studies, sports and education. As most courses do not have any pre-requisites, students are not restricted to their own field of study, so business and engineering students are also welcome to participate.
• Each week consists of 3 courses and students can design their individual program by selecting 1 course per week. The full program, including detailed course outlines, can be found on our website: HAN Summer School Nijmegen: topics
• The total number of credits awarded to the Summer School is 6 ECTS. – each course is worth 2 ECTS.

• Classes take place from Monday to Friday and weekends are free for relaxation or exploring the city of Nijmegen, The Netherlands or other parts of Europe.

Program fee

Students pay an all-inclusive fee of €1850,- (tuition waived) and will contribute towards the exchange balance in the ratio: 3 summer school places = 1 semester place.

The fee includes the following:

• Accommodation in self-catering accommodation for 3 weeks

The Free State of Bavaria invites applications for its one-year scholarship program for students from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe for the academic year 2024/25 via BAYHOST / BTHA. Graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine are eligible to apply.

The scholarships are meant to finance postgraduate studies (i.e. master’s programs) and PhDs at Bavarian higher education institutions. Annual scholarships can be extended twice for up to 3 years; the scholarship amounts to 934,-€ per month. One-year study sojourns in Bavaria as part of a PhD in the home country can also be funded.
