Welcome
Dear Colleagues,
It is our great honour and pleasure to invite you to the 22nd IGWT Symposium, titled ”From Commodity to Quality: Shaping a Sustainable Future”, held in conjunction with the 3rd International Conference on Quality and Management Sciences. The event will take place from 9 to 11 September 2026 in Poznań, Poland.
After a long hiatus, the IGWT conferences are being resumed, offering a unique opportunity for international scholars and professionals in the fields of commodity science, quality, and management to reconnect and exchange ideas. This joint event will also feature the 3rd ICQMSc, conference traditionally organized in Poznań.
The symposium will be hosted by the Institute of Quality Science at the Poznań University of Economics and Business and co-organized by the International Society of Commodity Science and Technology. The special importance of this event is given by the fact that it is held in the jubilee year of the 100th anniversary of our University. We will be delighted to celebrate this milestone together.
The symposium’s motto invites scholarly reflection on the evolution of our discipline and its role in addressing contemporary global challenges. The scientific program will highlight the latest advancements in quality, commodity, and management sciences, with a special focus on their role in AI-driven transformation and sustainable development. We believe the symposium will provide an excellent platform for presenting research findings and fostering interdisciplinary dialogue at the intersection of social and natural sciences in the era of technological transformation.
We warmly welcome the participation of experienced researchers, Ph.D. candidates, graduate students, and practitioners interested in all aspects of quality, commodity, and management sciences.
We cordially invite you to join us in Poznań!

Paper in collaborating journals
If you intend to publish in a collaborating journal, please send your abstract to: IGWT-ICQMSC@konf.ue.poznan.pl Include a note in the subject line indicating your preferred journal or whether you are submitting for a monograph chapter.
Submitted articles will undergo a preliminary qualification process by representatives of the Scientific Committee and the Organizing Committee. This assessment will focus on the content and its alignment with the scope of the selected journal.
Please note: Qualification does not guarantee acceptance for publication in the chosen journal. Final acceptance is determined solely by the outcome of a double-blind peer review conducted by reviewers appointed by the Editor-in-Chief of the respective journal.
When submitting an article for qualification, authors must ensure that the format and language of the manuscript comply with the requirements of the selected journal, as outlined on its official website. Indicating a preferred journal does not guarantee that the article will be published there.
Once authors receive confirmation of a positive qualification, they must independently proceed with the submission process via the journal’s designated system. The Conference Organizers are not responsible for the outcome of this process.
Important: Some journals may charge a publication fee. Authors are advised to carefully review the terms and conditions of publication.
